I think we overachieved last year and are now paying for it. Even though we went up as champions we relied heavily on the magic of Adel and shot stopping of Kenny. NW turned a mediocre team into champions.

The players that have been purchased since promotion you prayed they would do well but deep down we knew they were sh*te even though we tried to justify the buys by watching them on YouTube.
    Dyer- always injured
SWP - as Chelsea fans taunted us, he's hopeless
Joey - not interested and limited ability
Zamora - Fulham couldn't wait to off load him.
Bothroyd - above average championship player
Cisse - good player but unreliable
Young - average and best years behind him.
Diakite and Taiwo - no wonder we never heard of them.
    Anton - average

Lot of us including myself were blinded by our loyalty but if these players were not linked to us, I think most of us would have seen them for what they are.

Unfortunately we didn't buy well and I don't shed any blame on the managers as we as a club are probably not in a position to attract good players. I don't think it was the takeover or previous owners as our squad was never depleted, we just didn't add any real quality.

Could of been different if those above named players played like professional footballers but why change a habit of a lifetime for us.

Agree mate, I was going to edit it to below average but out of the clowns we've purchased I somehow quite like him and didn't want to come across too negative as it's only Monday.

It's not a tough league this year, we should not be where we are. Even Fulham are giving man utd a game of it.

Matty - I know you have weight issues and you stalk me on message boards, but to think I am obsessive just because I think JB should shoulder more of the blame than most of the players is putting our relationship on the line.

You know I am fattest as it is. don't push it. Or squash it.

Zamora was worth his transfer he was great at Fulham. He's come to a club where players cant do the basics. SWP looks awful and would struggle to get a Sunday game.Bothroyd how terrible does he look now. Joey Barton average again but in a poor team, makes him worse. Very poor returns from all transfer windows recruitments .Feel for Tony Fernades minds me of Chris Wright era .Hope we don't go down that road again. I just cant understand how professional players show lack of respect and interest when on the field of play.We had a championship winning team.Who were well similar if not better to Swansea/Norwich. sadly it looks like they done there homework in the summer. We've went so far backwards it has to come from the training ground.

Swansea and Norwich have had all the luck, got all the breaks, that have been denied us this season.
Remember, it is SWANSEA & NORWICH we are talking about here, not AC MILAN & BARCELONA.
Both of the former lagged behind us for all of last season for a valid reason.

To a certain extent I actually agree with this. Whilst not fully to blame I do think some of it is down to the fans. Not a popular view of course. A stadium like ours can be a double-edged sword - great if the crowd are fully behind the team but a hinderance when not because the players can hear every single bit of abuse directed at them. As repeated ad nauseum, it doesn't matter how professional a player is or how much they earn, they are still just human and will inevitably be affected by this to varying degrees, no matter how thick-skinned they appear. The sad thing is it's only a minority of fans who do it.

Yes of course BE and FB shoulder most of the blame for not backing Neil last summer, then the players for under-performing, then a small section of the fans - in that order.

this blaming of be and fb is just stupid now,

look at it this way, if you owned qpr and you were looking to sell it to the next mug that walks along, would you invest £20-"30 mil on players just before you sell it?

I bet that is very convenient for the players - it is the fans' fault, they boo. The insolent sods! The bally cheek! That's why we are going down! If the fans stopped booing, the players would play really well all of a sudden and we get lots of points. Yeah, right.

For the 12th man you need the other 11 MEN first.
