Barton, Zamora, Cisse, Onuhuna, Ferdinand, Young, Traore et al are going to be on mega salaries in the Championship. I can't see too many clubs wanting to take them off us as they are on good and long contracts. We have not put relegation contracts in and these players I can't see being up for the fight of the Championship. So depressing. What a bunch of mercenaries.

I think it's the players that are more at fault than the management. Top quality experianced players don't come cheap and we needed some in our squad badly as our squad was looking very very weak. The management had to support the managers in who they wanted to bring in and this was done. Unfortunatley for us the players that came in have at most under-performed massively.
Players like Barton and Wright-Phillips would not of come for peanuts and when we signed them they looked like they had great potential to be good players for us. Who could of predicted that those two would turn out to be so poor?
Luke young blows hot and cold and Ferdinand is crying out to be partnered with someone with more quality that can hold his hand and guide him through games. Traore looks a good signing to me and i would like to see him play on the left wing as he can beat a man and can cross the ball. Something Zamora craves badly!
The fact we have had 6 sendings off has obviously been a big factor to where we are in the league right now aswell. We have shot ourselves in the foot too many times.
It's time for these players to get there sh*t together and start earning there big wages but i honestly can't see it happenening this season, there confidence is shot to pieces.

My abiding memory of yesterday's game was a shot panning in on Barton giving one of the biggest yawns I've ever seen. Sums everything up I think.
