    It didn't work. But I can't blame Hughes for that. He had no choice. Think if he had started Barton and we had lost!

    Ah, poor old MH, what a tough decision to make - pick a useless twonk who runs up blind alleys and can't control a ball unless it was attached to his boot by superglue and a player who has played in the Prem for pretty much all his career and has been quite successful, albeit he is looking less like the JB we thought we were getting...?

      How can you not blame MH. It was a ridiculous decision to start with Mackie. All he has is energy, which as a sub is great against tired defences, however as has been proved countless times he has no effect from the start... Why? Well that's simple, the opposition are better players who are too clever for him, and when he plays from the start they have the same energy levels as him so that advantage is non existent.
