  • If we were to lose at Sunderland

Would you still feel ok seeing as we picked up 3 points on Weds?
After all people were saying we need at least a win from the two games (of which we have done).

I would take a draw now. We need wins, but a defeat would be really hard to take as we could really do with some momentum.

Last Saturday I said I'd be happy with 4points from the Liverpool and Sunderland games, so a draw would be ok. Win would be excellent though, don't want us dropping into that losing mentality again. Especially seeing as the players should be on a high after Wednesday.

Defeat today coupled with a Bolton win( who also have a game in hand) would leave us back in a desperate situation with Arsenal to come,we can't afford to lose today, simple as!

if we did'nt have such a tough run-in I'd say a draw would be ok, no disrespect to Sunderland but I'd be looking to take maximum points as I don't see us doing anything at the Manc clubs or Chelsea, be looking for a point apiece against the spuds and gooners and wins at WBA and at home to Swansea and Stoke

Our much needed self confidence is still on thin ice, so need at least a point today not to lose it again.

Well I think a lose would be a blow really as we need to build on that win, a point would do nicely.

If we lost it wouldn't be the end of the world but would blow our winning mentality

I think he means the fact the team should be buoyed by coming back from the dead to beat Liverpool.
