No Mate..as nearly all of my posts on this forum will show i am very much a glass full supporter..my point is about the almost bi polar levels of mood swing on here and the heaping of expectation on a player. Labeling someone the new ferdinand after 3 games is a bit premature.

Cisse is top class.

Forget the fact he has effectively 3 in 3 games, which is brilliant, but consider the fact in those games he's hardly had any actual chances, his conversion rate is exceptional and must be one of the best in the prem.

When there was first talk of us signing him i was delighted, and that you tube clip of those 50 goals in Greece was posted and made me more optimistic. He had nearly a goal a game over 2 seasons and many said it's only Greek league so means nothing, but anyone who watched that clip could see it showed what a class finisher he was once clear and 1 on 1. He is clinical and in that situation it doesn't matter what league you're in. I was also surprised just how good he was in the air. He has everything.

So for sure he is the most complete striker we've had since Sir Les imo and i just hope we stay up so we can start a season with a clean slate and level playing field to see exactly what this team is capable of.
