Sunderland v QPR
Unusually for them, Sunderland didn't really get going against Blackburn on Tuesday. The Black Cats will want to make up for that against QPR, but they will also be thinking about next week's FA Cup quarter-final replay with Everton, and the chance of getting to Wembley.
Rangers, undoubtedly, will be up for this one. If you had walked into their training ground the day after they came back to beat Liverpool then it would have been a great place to be because there is nothing better than winning the way they did.
Those sorts of results galvanise teams and I just have a sneaky feeling that Bobby Zamora and, particularly, Djibril Cisse might just prove to be master signings in their relegation fight.
Many years ago, West Ham stayed up because they signed John Hartson and Paul Kitson, albeit in February, and if Zamora and Cisse get going they could be the difference between QPR staying up or not.
Defensively they are not particularly good and you wouldn't say they have a great midfield but with those two up front, they do have a chance. The ability to score goals makes a big difference for struggling sides and by hook or by crook I think QPR will stay up.
A lot has been made of QPR's run-in - they play all of the top five in their last nine games - but I think the pressure will actually be off them a little bit in those games, and that helps. If they had to play Wolves, Wigan, Bolton and Blackburn then they would be expected to win, which isn't always a positive thing.
Prediction: Sunderland 1-1 QPR
