Stewards - LFC fan in X block

Had to sit in upper Kippax at the old Maine Road in 97 when Johnny Spencer got two and we won 3-0. Had to sit on my hands and keep my gob shot. They were horrible, shouting some serious abuse at our fans. Wasn't wearing hoops but it must have been obvious 'cos I wasn't cheering everytime Kinkladze got the ball.

I think it's ok if you keep your head down, and don't get too mouthy.

those millwall fans were the worst they could smell fear and would walk around there ground just sniffing

i got caught out but talked my way out of trouble but it wasnt very nice
in 68-69 so gigantic was the man utd following that many loft boys including myself had to watch the game from the school end

but fantastic days though watching bandy barry bridges excellerating and disapearing into thin air but sadly he often forgot the ball
