To be fair they all had good games, Traore is a brilliant out ball for us with his pace and composure. Thought Taiwo got involved well when he came on too.

All in all a good showing from the African/French contingent.

I can really see something in Diakite. Very raw but the guy has potential for sure. Very shaky first 30 minutes but as a team we were also terrible in the first 30. Once he starts running with the ball he has power and pace and i can see him scoring a special goal for us sooner or later. Was he a permanent signing or loan to the end of the season i cant remember now? Shame Ali is injured they could form a great partnership. For me that has to be Bartons last game his passing is pure pony. Has to be Buzz in there from now on. Lets hope this kick starts our season. I still think we will take more points off some of the bigger boys but we cant afford another 30 minutes like those first 30 last night or we'll get severely punished next time. Still buzzing from last night!!! Huzzar!!!

Not only was Taiwo's cross for the goal top draw, let's not forget he "won" the corner for Derry's goal with that free kick that was going in the top corner (of the upper loft) even without the deflection
It looked at times like Barton wouldnt pass to Adel.
A few times first half Adel was the obvious choice but Barton passed elsewhere.

Make no mistake Taarabt pulled the strings in the second half

Diakate had the worst 30 mins I've seen all season followed by a superb 60 mins, shields the ball so well and when he drops a shoulder he can leave 2/3 men.....well done lad.

Tawio looked a different player tonight, composed, sharp and outstandIng assist.

Traore...that tackle what injured him from where I was sitting was the best I've seen all season and from 30 mins on looked dangerous down the left.

Cisse (yes I know he is French but still.....!) finishing is a bit special and had that 30 yarder gone in that would have been goal of the season for us.

Not thinking about Sunderland, just gonna enjoy the moment and wanted to toff my hat to our French African posse for their contribution in providing the most euphoric moment at a football match I can remember!
They were, to a Man, simply superb.

Few people criticising surprised. We were bottem 3 going into tonight course they were nervous and Liverpool started strong
Diakite was superb once he settled for the poster saying was lucky to be on. Not got a clue what u are talking about he didn't even look close to a booking last night

He's on loan subject to where we finish if we can stay up think his price about 5 mill euros , I have no doubt others will be in for him and if we sign him can see him being sold for big money down the line

Diakite is a potentially a superb player, reminds me of Tiote at Newcastle, he was pretty raw when he first came over here!
Taiwo I think will get better and better, he's played for some very good clubs, that doesn't happen by chance, the problem is we brought these players in and needed them to be at their best from the word go, that rarely happens!
Cisse is just a class forward at any level, a goal in every match he's completed and no doubt plenty more before the end of the season!
