He was s**t, much like he has been all season and deserved to get pulled. Didn't deserve the booing though, much like Bothroyd didn't deserve it earlier in the season.

I've now got used to our fans always having 1 player to boo..... the list is endless. We just can't be happy with our team.... ever.

Totally agree.I was lambasted the other day for my Dolly Parton/Joey Barton thread.I think he's useless, his stray passes, set pieces, over hit corners, questionable temperament, and if we stand any chance of survival he and SWP must be left off the team sheet. The whole team appears to play with a lot more enthusiasm and desire when he is not around to dictate and intimidate and SWP has been given ample opportunities on both flanks, but continues to dribble his way into trouble. We are fast running out of games and can ill afford to keep them in the team.

        barton doesn't want it.
        we do.
move him out. nothing personal - i don't know the guy. but as a QPR captain he's not good at all.
questionable about his footballing abilities too.

Barton got what he deserved, he shows no passion or pride playing for QPR-no surprise that he went off and a team appeared on the pitch, the result, the reactions of fans and players just shows how bad an influence he has become ON ALL OF US.

At least he finally admitted he actually played S**T, shame its taken him month sto realise something we all knew in September.

I find it amazing there's anyone left who wants to support him in anyway

                  Joey-at the end of match

I didn't see from where I was sat but saw on TV later that at the final whistle or when Jamie scored he went mental celebrating with the bench and jumping on someone's back. You could see emotionally it meant something, now we know he wasn't good and he's admitted that too but you DON'T boo your own players especially when we're in our situation. It looked like a team that have bonded and it does mean something to them.i know we've not been great but stay off their backs it doesn't help

Ps-after watching it on tv it didn't seem as poor as being there, thank **** for editing
Thank **ck thats all over with !!! need a holiday!!!

Are you Barton in disguise or something?

The thing about Barton, is not just that he is complete dross, it's also the effect he seems to have on the rest of the team. His leaving the field was like this dark cloud hanging over the team also leaving Loftus Road. The remaining players seemed to be reenergised, and play with more freedom and abandon. he simply cannot play again.

And what of SWP? He also was conspicuous by his absence. I like the guy, but it just hasn't worked, and to my mind, from now on, we should stick with the same team we had after Barton went off.

I haven't read the 5 pages because i can't be arsed however i'm putting my view across.

Booing our own players is a disgrace! I felt sorry for Barton as he got subbed, the reaction was awful and when he clapped i actually thought, well done mate, **** them!

He has underperformed massively this season, i'm not debating that and Joey will admit that but booing a player is only going to make him worse! He won't want the ball, his confidence will be low, he won't try things he normally would etc. Is that what the boo boys want?!

Anyone who says he doesn't care should take a look at the bench after Mackie scored.

I'm not his biggest fan and i wouldn't have started with him last night or at Sunderland on Saturday but booing is not the answer. I hope he gets an important winner in the coming few weeks to shut the *****S up.

Also i'd bet my life these are the same 'fans' who booed Bothroyd, SWP and Mackie!

He plays for QPR, he is our Captain and he is in the 25 man squad, so he has every chance of playing. Glad I cleared that up for you!
