        A round of applause may just help to "keep him onside" so to speak.

        The standing ovation should wait until he has really stitched Liverpool up and the 3 points are secure.

        As for if he did anything particularly well, I dread to think what would have happened should young Master Attwell have been in charge of proceedings.

                  To be fair to Webb, it probably wasn't his decision.

                  These things affect people very differently. Hard to know how you'd react until it happens. I hope I'm never in a position where I have to find out if I'm honest.

                    He was/is an OB so you would think it wouldn't affect him that badly as he has probably came up against similar before in his other job.
