The standing ovation should wait until he has really stitched Liverpool up and the 3 points are secure.
As for if he did anything particularly well, I dread to think what would have happened should young Master Attwell have been in charge of proceedings.

These things affect people very differently. Hard to know how you'd react until it happens. I hope I'm never in a position where I have to find out if I'm honest.
