I have just bought Spurs ticket for the family, to add to the Arsenal tickets I bought last week and the Stoke ones I'll be getting in a couple of weeks.
    So what, you say?
Well I can't afford to take the family to any of these games, nor could I afford the memberships either, but I'm determined that my boys will see the Rs play premiership football live, and I don't know when they will get a chance again, so I'm pushing the overdraft to fund these games.
I'm usually a glass half full kinda guy, but I can't see us turning it a round, and I owe it to my boys to take them to see the Rangers in the top flight.

My eldest is 8, and already talks in glowing terms about Bale, Rooney, VanPersie et al, all of the players on those cards he gets, and I know that if we slip down the leagues, I'll lose him to a glamour club. So I'm pushing the boat out for these games so we can look back on them in the future, and if by some stroke of luck we do manage the great escape, we'll have some great memories.

Think there may be a fair few at the Stoke game to say goodbye to the Prem TBH !!!

        Fair play mate.

Let's just hope they leave LR with smiles on their faces and 3 points in the bag.

I really do fear the worst if we go down.Could end up stuck in the Championship,or lower, for years.

My lad is the same age, gets the same cards and knows who the top players are, but I've successfully brainwashed him into following me and his grandad and supporting the R's
Even though his first full season has been a shite one results wise his enthusiasm hasn't waned, and when his mates at school give him stick he laughs at them for being 'plastic fans' and is proud of being the next generation of R's
Hope you all have a great time, soak up the atmosphere no matter the results, get him a few autographs and he'll be hooked for life

good post. i am based in cheshire so the other kids in my lad's class all follow shitty, manure or liverstool. luckily the brainwashing has worked a treat and he can't wait to go to his next r's game. however given his last two away games were at blackburn and bolton, i am keeping him on the sidelines for a game or two in the hope that we get some away points next time around!
              come on you r's!
