  • Are QPR fans suited to the Premier League?

And I don't mean would you like to be playing the Premier League question is as a fan base are we suited to the Premier league?

    For example;

We cannot accept paying our players sky high wages

We complain constantly every time Sky moves one of our matches

We detest the new type of Premier league fans such as Fulhams Tarquins and tourists

We wallow in self pity and injustice at every opportunity

    Etc

I think most fans are like this (except for the wages and that is because we have been through hard times and don't want a repeat).

Yes most of the lower clubs in the premiership are in turmoil and most of their fans probably rant on the respective forums about managers /players /wages etc,

Ever since i was a kid QPR have flattered to deceive but we should be used to it now we apear to be not good enough to be at the top table with the best clubs in the country , so middle of the road we will remain ,

i'd say, qpr fans STILL FEEL VERY CLOSE TO THEIR CLUB, because we were part of saving it...stopping mergers etc....
the prem lge is just for the big clubs to get bigger, richer

one good side is we have had few midweek away games, playing 8 games less arguably saves £££££, we are getting worldwide coverage of our weekly misery too!

few grounds in the prem lge have ANY PASSION, ANY EDGE TO THEM...

i feel our passion is slowly being drained from us , and LR is not too edgy at the moment , this does not bode well for us IF we stay up

The Premier League is cr*p, it's not a competition, it's over-hyped and over-rated, yet we all think that's where we are meant, or want, to be ..... causes conflict in my mind anyway.

Well I don't think we can compete, unless you have millions to spend your better of ticking over in the championship TBH.

Totally agree. Certainly wouldn't want another season like this one, ever. It's bad enough with the team under performing and making excuses and empty promises at every opportunity, let alone the awful officiating of matches which is not helped by dirty talentless players committing niggly fouls all over the place and getting away unpunished, instead of playing the game properly.

Problem is, once we are down, what is the purpose of next season, if it isn't an attempt to get the opportunity to go through it all again?

I don't personally know their fan base so couldn't comment

I don't think you have to know the fanbase to work out that they would be also be ranting at anything and everything had their team not taken to the league like a duck to water.
