  • Another clubs take on us

This was posted on a Middlesborough web site:

Threat Rating: Czech Republic – Which QPR will turn up this season? The one with lashings of cash and an ambitious squad underwritten with a steady hand in the coaching department? Or the trigger happy boardroom that doesn’t get instant returns on its investment and Magilton pays the price? Rangers have to be rated as outside challengers; they’re just too strong potentially not to be taken as a serious threat, but many questions remain and this could be a season too early for the boys from Shepherds Bush to make a serious attack on their Championship rivals.

Which do you think the former or the latter?

    its a lottery
    pure and simple..
newcastle are a shambles, so were sunnyderlund and keane took em up
    boro.../??
    FOREST have rebuilt and SPENT
    derby look more solid now]
    wba will be top 6
sheff utd will be top 6 as ever
    palace/qpr..will be close
    preston....top 6 candidates
reading....will they learn and push on, or struggle?

its another tough season ahead, with 15 ex prem in the mix ALL SAYING THEY ARE RIGHTFUL HEIRS TO THE PREM..but there can be only THREE....

hit the nail on the head.. its a lottery.. all depends what teams turn up. my own opinion is that preston will be in top 10, as with us and palace. derby will be in the middle playing for nothing. whilst ipswich will challenge.

the 3 that came down i expect with a new manager WBA could either go really well or really badly.. lets hope for the latter. newcastle again.. they have the best squad in the league nobody is buying their players but like us they suffer from having a crap forward line. if they get **** sorted they will go up. and m'boro are a threat.. i see them taking this league with some ease.. WBA will be top 6 and newcastle out of the 3 i expect to either flop or suprise and dominate. cant really tell

I'm beginning to wish that Portsmouth, Stoke & Hull got relegated instead of WBA, Newcastle & Boro.

We were hot favourites last season and that affected us imo, this time we are not being considered and thats the best position to be in, dark horse all the way.:victory:

Sheff Utd, Middlesbrough, West Brom & Newcastle culd all be challengers for automatic promotion.

Whilst Reading, Cardiff, Preston, Palace, Bristol City, Ipswich, Forest, Sheff Weds, Leicester, Derby, and Swansea along with QPR are all in with a good chance of making the play-offs. In other words, the CCC (unlike the Prem League) is a lottery and a lot of luck i.e. with injuries, is needed.
