Ruptured cruciate in January?...........He'll be doing well to make pre-season for 2012/13.

Is he still included in the 25 for the rest of the season? I thought he wasn't included anymore due to his injury.

I dont think he will be ready for pre season even, he must not be rushed, look what happened to Clarke Carlisle

I imagine he'll be back in October at the earliest if there are no complications.

However as we have seen with a number of players over the years like Rowlands, Essien, Bodde at Swansea and Clarke Carlisle a few years ago, the risk of recurring damage is huge when it comes to knee ligament injuries.

We MUST be patient with him and let him recover fully before even considering giving him a competitive game.

Had the op myself. 9 months minimum. Most likely 10.

I guess a slight positive of the injury is that no matter what he will be a QPR player util at least January next year as he won't be able to leave in the summer.

No chance of seeing Ali before the start of next season, if he's still here? We won't risk him we'll give him lots of time to get over a nasty injury.
