Well I guess after all the money they invested in the squad, you would think they would do a little better...

heres what i thought of the team today, i know its only a friendly but still.

      marshall seems a good backup

      ramage :nothing: same ol' really
      gorkss good stuff
hall gonna have a good season this year
borrowdale :( for me not a good modern day full back, doesnt utilise the ball well either. dissapointing.

routledge :nothing: ok i spose, dont actually remember him going past one player, but did ok.
mahon not a fan of mahon at all, but he played well.
rowlands big fan but i dont understand why him and mahon seem to be doing the same job... he should be gettin forward more.
balanta :exciting: motm, good movement, accurate passing, went past people well.

      agyemang :horror: useless
vine  better than agyemang, just... think he still aint fit tho.

      subs

      helguson :horror: shockin
      brown :nothing: did ok
taarabt lovely goal, played a few nice passes aswell, maybe he will get that 15
alberti :what: did he even touch the ball!? only played 13mins tho
stewart :nothing: did ok, started well, ended not so great.
      ephraim :what: did ok
pellicori :( only 13mins to play but didnt impress in the slightest, but unfair to judge him.
ainsworth :nothing: did what he had to do.

No problems with that comment. You have to be tough all the time and no room for less than a 100% and this was The Saints don't forget.

Worrying about Vine. Hope he can become the player he was before the injury. Also we need Buzz back fit. How long is Faurlin out for? That is another worry. As for Lee Cook....well, time will tell, but I'm not hopeful. Because of all these doubts we need to strengthen our weaker areas: esp. getting in a decent lb and a decent striker, or we'll miss out on play-offs. So frustrating....4/5 million more on transfers/wages and we'd be in with a real chance of automatic promotion. Instead we might well miss out again on play-offs.
