Agree with that. Also taking speedy Traore out for the not so speed Taiwo almost cost us before their 2-1. Didn´t fancy his sub of Taarabt at Everton either. But apart from that...he´s been ok

His subs have left little to be desired and he doesn't seem to know how to set us up to not concede. Also not taking Diakite off on his debut was a showed a terrible lack of foresight.

Apart from MK Dons we haven't kept a clean sheet since October and kept 3 all season. None in the league under Hughes. I thought we'd at least be harder to break down when Hughes came in

. He's yet to get a proper decent performances out of the team, maybe Wigan at home is the only one. He's had nine league games and much more favourable fixtures than Warnock's last 9 games yet picked up the same number of points!

I'm not saying Warnock would have done better but I don't see how Hughes can not absorb some if not a majority of the blame?

Also not replacing Faurlin in the transfer window was a key mistake. Even if it was just a 6 month loan, we needed someone who can offer protection to the back four. Diakite could be a good player, but a big gamble to rely on a young kid who has never played Premiership football before. Plus he was coming back from the African Cup of Nations. Players coming back from ACN always drop off in form.

I'm not saying sack him, but I am saying he's grossly underperformed.

I blame Barton more than Hughes. But Hughes had the window, the money and even the bonding break and he therefore does have to shoulder some of the responsibility here.

Compare him to what MON did without spending and it points to a poor return so far.

But can we get better than MH? I don't think so and the truth is we really don't know what results NW would have had if he was still here.

If you want to blame anyone or anything IMO it was the signing of Barton. Too big an ego for NW, the squad and QPR. He split the dressing room and has not produced on the pitch. That is where the problem lies.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Agree! In hindsight it was a colossal error bringing him in, many on here saw it coming, I thought NW would man manage him well and get the best out of him, it hasn't worked out! It will be interesting to see if Hughes has the stones to drop him because IMHO he's not worth a place in our starting 11 at the moment!

                I fear you are right!!

And all he has accomplished is chaos in the team he is supposed to captain.

                That´s a strange one

Who would you suggest should take his place?

Do we have anyone better ATM?

Ps. I´m not so sure we should have sold PVM!!

You cant blame Hughes , he is trying to change the club top to bottom, training , centre of excellence, scouting, all takes time. Sadly wont have enough time to make a real change this year, really hope he stays with us and builds his own team next year and takes us up.

I would play Derry and either Buzz or Adel in the center of the midfield, I know this isn't ideal but neither is a captain who is woeful at set pieces and demands to take most of them, doesn't track back and has lost all ability to pass!

I see what you mean, and I part of agree. I should believe Adel and Buzz should be on the field in almost every match.

It does also looks like Barton of all players/persons has lost his confidence. AND his passing IS poor, I´ll give you that!!

I'm not blaming Barton but I guess NW ultimately or TF ,whoever suggested the signing in the first place.

Barton has not produced on the pitch along with many others, Bothroyd, SWP, etc spring to mind but you can't blame Barton for being crap, its just how he is. But you are right in asking the question why has he been able to get away with poor performances all season. NW did not know how to deal with him and MH possible hasn't got the bottle to drop him.

Barton is a nuisance off the pitch, just wish he would be more of one on it!

I thought he should have taken Derry off earlier for Buczaky, because our strikers did not get passes. But when I saw Taiwo coming, I despaired. He had only a simple header to win, but forgot to jump.

Hindsight yes, but given Hughes was regarded as a slow starter in his previous clubs it makes me wonder why he got appointed as a "quick fix" in our situation.

Well, there are still 10 matches to play, so he can still prove me wrong.
