    The only chance we have in my opinion is if Hughes drops the likes of Barton and SWP. Stick Buzz in for Barton and play Adel in a free role. At least we will create chances.

        I'd say a lot depends on wether RVP plays or not ...let's hope he gets injured before we play them!

            I don't doubt we are down, posted few weeks ago felt like a conspiracy against us, every slightly 50/50 decision against us, soft reds for us for everyone else a let off ( Ohara anyone and basso g same game) we have also been unlucky both start of season and jan transfer window where we have played the teams we needed the new players for before we got them , it feels like the fa are getting us back for the affair last season

            Everyone says luck evens out over a season if that is correct we are about to embark on the most lucky spell in the history of the pl
            Have had the hump since wolves and still not over it , want this season to end ASAP as fed up of it , we will go back to the 14 k fans and eventually our ambitions will get kicked out of us and we will be happy to be missable winning a few games

            Sorry for the negativity but have lost all enthusiasm for this pl shi t of a league
            Makes it worse that the 2 teams we were superior to last season doing a whe lot better then us

                WHY ......... how many games have we lost against the 'big' boys 1-0 we only need a wee bit of luck and then the confidence 'could' come flooding back ! Here's hoping
                "Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
                For us that would mean around 29k."

                  It´s not over (un)till I start to sing. (Dear me)

                  Beware the fact that relegation teams towards the end of the season tend to take points from out of nowhere.

                  IOW, We can still do it...

                    He had an off day at the library if anyone remembers, could have scored a hatful otherwise.
                    Here's hoping for another off day.

                      it looks grim, but...

                      - the defence looked a lot more solid in the last couple of games;
                      - i do think we carry more of an attacking threat with cisse and zamora;
                      - we did manage to raise our game against the bigger teams (except man utd) earlier on.
                      - the other 4 relegation-threatened teams are hardly setting the world alight are they? (and thankfully, we can't give them any more points now).

                      i do worry that diakite is going to get himself sent off in every match (still has more yellow cards than games). but i reckon spurs and liverpool will be vulnerable at our patch, maybe arsenal too.
