This is my first time on the site since the debacle as I've been out stocking up on paracetamol and razor blades.
I have tried to remain positive through recent results, many of which have been of our own doing through brain dead actions from highly paid players that should know better. The farce of the non goal yesterday was almost a sign as if to say forget it, you're jinxed and everything that can go wrong will!
It was a disgrace and the lino should be struck off if he couldn't see that while standing on the line. Not only would everyone else see the ball a yard over the line, but ffs, when it was saved it moved diagonally back towards the pitch and then hit the bar.... How could it do that if not over the line! F£%king retard. He said 2 people in his way which is clearly BS so they better not let him off as a result. Whatever they do won't change what happened and cost us dear.
Some people will say our goal was off so its evened out.... Well no not at all. We were denied a lead in a 6 pointer match having just hit the bar minutes earlier. Had it stood their crowd would've heaped pressure on them and they may have buckled and never got back in the game. We will never know now.
I am also peed off with MH as well. Why was Derry playing and Barton shifted wide?! I'd Taiwo was fit enough for the bench he shouldve played lb, traore lm, swp rm, with barton and diakite cm. Why mess about with the midfield for a crucial match we needed to win and basically go defensive. It showed on the pitch with the front 2 isolated too often and the rest hitting mainly aimless balls to Zamora, who wasn't having a great game and didn't win many.
Add to that with Diakite in his 2nd game, after only 30mins of his first, he needs to gel with Barton who will play with him most weeks. Very strange decision imo.
Also the fact we've failed miserably in every 6 pointer bar Wigan is a disaster. Could it be the fact we've got a squad of players not used to being in a dogfight... Maybe they will get a couple of results against better teams where more football can be played.
Is there any light at the end of the tunnel.. At the minute it feels like if there was it'd be a bloody train! It looks more ominous now we've gifted points to rivals. Our only saving grace could be a possible all time low tally to survive. We have a hard run in on paper for sure, but others have tough games also and there are still winnable games among them, but will it be enough, possibly not!
