Some serious back tracking on this thread.

Just admit it you got drunk and lost it and let yourselfs down.
Do me a favour, Funky. The fans that were there are ones who follow this club home and away every week and have had to witness some utter rubbish football in the last few weeks from a bunch of players on mega contracts who spout every week how they are going to deliver a performance that the fans can be proud of. No one from what I saw was drunk. Yet again, you're making comments on something you know sweet fa about. It's all very easy for you sitting over in Thailand making comments about how we're playing, but if you were there every week seeing the players that we have and the performance they're delivering and what a potential relegation might mean to this club having been in administration twice before, then you would understand why some Rangers fans are ****ed off with certain players.

Some Rangers fans will always applaud the side irrespective of how the team have played. Some Rangers fans won't accept below par performances from players which is contributing to our downfall. It's all about opinions and that was what the 'incident' was all about.

    • A number of Lazio fans have invaded the club's training ground, shouting abuse and threatening players, causing them to run for cover.

Things couldn't get worse for Lazio after their own fans turned against them during today's training session, following Sunday's heavy 4-1 defeat at home to Cagliari.

Biancocelesti supporters turned up, but they were in no mood to keep the peace as they shouted abuse at the players. A couple of fans scaled the security fence to confront players, causing coach Delio Rossi to abandon the session as a number of stars ran for cover.

"You are a bunch of women and mercenaries," shouted one angry fan, as reported by Il Corriere Dello Sport.

One supporter even asked Aleksander Kolarov for a fight and he warned the Serbian stopper that he would be waiting for him outside the ground after training.

As tempers flared, the situation always risked getting out of hand. Rossi was quick to intervene as he tried to protect his players from what could have turned out to be a nasty scuffle.

"You are right to be annoyed but please lets calm down and we can talk about this later," Rossi told the angry fans.

The coach then calmly walked back towards the training pitch, and he told his players to carry on with their session.

Lazio were also confronted by the fans on Sunday after the match, and it is believed they blocked the team bus from leaving the stadium.
Makes Euston look like an AGM.

I'm watching every game out here Dave and still have my season ticket.

BTW I have spoken to a load of people who where there and quite frankly those involved should be ashamed.

Dont talk to me about watching rubbish Dave I've been going home and away for years you know that but at no point have I ever reacted that way to any of our squad players.

Read the this is England blog post and the reaction from most of the boards.

I think you will get a general feel of the fans reactions to some of those involved.

        • I personally don't blame the fans for having ago at the players , I was so angry when I left the ground on Sat and if I saw the players get off the train then I would of said a few things to them as well

Frankly the players have let the fans down this season and they deserve everything they get

I have read the bloke's blog. I was there so agree with some of it and some of it I don't. Don't always believe everything you read! You should know that with your support for Paladini! At the end of the day if people spend thousands of pounds following the club home and away then in my opinion and you can read from this thread there are many who feel that the players should know how fans feel. If you choose to not be happy with players performances and you want to vent your anger and frustration it is your choice as long as you are not committing any crime. If you want to sit back and always applaud the side irrespective of how the players play then that is fair enough because that is your choice. I am certainly not happy spending thousands watching inept performances from players who should be doing better.

              I agree Hammersmith.

To be fair to Funky, if some fans have gone face to face hurling abuse, squaring up etc., then they should be ashamed and the appropriate action taken. No place for behaviour like that, although as you say, probably an exaggeration.

However, no player should be able to escape being made to understand the depth of feeling felt by a large proportion of our fans. It's no good at all them coming out on a weekly basis, just as Mark Bowen has today, telling us all that "now is the time" and "the boys are determined". They are nothing but "hollow words", as proven by the history of performances that have followed such tripe. They should have been determined, working hard, fighting for their lives etc., since August. Maybe saying that all they have achieved so far is "proving themselves gutless and not up to the task", is a tad harsh, but that is how many feel and it is their performances that are responsible for that. There was talk of re-introducing the "fans forums" for this season, but they clearly have not had the gumption to sit down and answer for their abject failure, face to face, in a civilised environment, so can't really complain if they get stick from elsewhere.

              • If we go down, it is because how the team has performed over the whole season, which sadly has not been good enough. I am certainly not happy with that. I support QPR, certainly not under performing players on mega contracts.

                  • Whilst I can see this from both sides, I still stick by my original comment, this was not the game to have reacted to, there have been far worse and had Hills perfectly good goal stood I firmly believe we would have gone on to win the game. The disparity between fans and players now, due to the stupid stupid wages being paid is getting wider and wider but Saturday hurt the players as much as it did the supporters, it was there for us all to see.

I'm sure it did hurt the players and quite rightly so. It hurt the fans even more as this is our club. We'll always be here. The players won't care as they'll f**k off to the next mug of a club who will pay them silly wages for naff all effort. But to hear the comments from our captain after the game on Twitter compounded things and his attitude towards us even more. We even had the usual tripe from Mark Bowen today on the official website. I just wished the players and management just shut up and went out there and put in a performance that we can be proud of and hopefully get 3 points! I was not proud of that performance on Saturday considering the team we had out.

                        • I must be in the minority I thought we played reasonably well against Bolton and personally had no concerns with the standard of performance in comparison to other games

We did but the thread is about fans getting the hump on with the players (granted more then just the Bolton game) but it would appear Bolton was the straw which broke the camels back when we were in fact noticably better then we have been

The Bolton performance certainly cannot be classed up their with that produced at Fulham or Liverpool
