the players are the ones who appear to think we got some divine right to be in the premiership, not us. be nice if some of them, who talk a good game, actually put a shift in thats all.

The fact we lost 2-1 today was not because of Joseph Barton it was more to do with the Pillock who was the linesman.
edit; you changed it!!!

After all they have invested time and more importantly money into this venture and some act as if we have devine right to be in the premiership, when in reality we don't. We are a much smaller club than many in the championship and yet we seem to be taking this all for granted.

Like I said, I didn't cover myself in any glory over the 'incident.' Philip Beard was there and Mark Hughes did nothing to appease or diffuse the situation.
Football is an emotional sport and people like myself don't want players taking the **** out off our club. We all accept defeat as it's part of the game, but it is the manner which we saw yet again from certain players. We all want to stay in this league.
The 'incident' was over in a matter of minutes like i said. Mackie will always divide opinion with fans. Some fans like him because he always tries and chips in with the odd goal whilst people like myself think he is not good enough for this league or team. The table as I said does not lie.
Cisse as someone said did not have to get involved, but certainly came across as a very arrogant person and you could see at first hand how he reacted so easily against Wolves and cost us 3 massive points. Professional footballers need to accept they will get grief when they don't perform. Like I said, if they cannot hack it, then they are in the wrong profession.
I just want to know that on a Saturday after 90 mins then each and every one of those players wearing the shirt have given their best. Today, and too often recently that too many have not and that is why people like myself reacted today. These players are big enough to know that in their next game they are going to have to put in a shift that the shirt and us the fans deserve.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

West London Sport on station altercation
By Dave McIntyre
QPR supporters and players were involved in an angry altercation at Euston following the team’s defeat against Bolton.
The Rangers squad were confronted after returning from the north-west by train.
Onlookers said forward Jamie Mackie took exception to comments from a group of fans, some of whom appeared to have been drinking heavily.
Mark Hughes was a target of their frustration. Rangers have won only one league match since the Welshman was installed as manager following the sacking of Neil Warnock in January.
One R’s fan, who was travelling with his six-year-old son, said: “It was horrible to witness.
“I’d say it was three to five people who were really having a go at them and one guy in particular who was squaring up to Jamie Mackie and Clint Hill and clearly looking for a fight.
“None of the players reacted as far as I could see. I saw Djibril Cisse trying to calm people down and then someone leading the players away.
“They made their way to a coach that was waiting for them and a much bigger group of fans gathered around the coach to basically applaud the team and show their support.”
A club spokesman played down the incident, saying: “Some fans were having a go at Mark Hughes and Jamie stood up for the manager.
“It was a case of him saying ‘Come on guys, we’re all in this together’ rather than anything else. It wasn’t anything serious.”
QPR’s loss at the Reebok Stadium saw them slide into the bottom three and leaves them on course for relegation despite major spending in the transfer market.
Their daunting run-in to the season includes matches against Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal and both Manchester clubs.

It's funny how things get twisted. I was there, and no doubt one of the people being referred to as 'drunk.' Funny that as I wasn't. The fact that I am here writing tonight would show that!
Certain players and Hughes need to grow some balls and start putting in performances that we the fans can be proud of.
Cisse like I said on my other post did not cover himself in any glory too.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Originally posted by HammersmithR View PostBefore anything gets twisted or sensationalised on message boards, Twitter or the media etc. Many Rangers were on the train coming back from Manchester after the game. When everyone got off at Euston it quickly became apparent the players were indeed on the same train. They had travelled back First Class in their own carriage with security guards not allowing anyone near them.
As many Rangers fans got off the train and I'll be the first to hold my hand up and say I didn't cover myself in too much glory songs were sung such as comments about the players wages and not doing their best for the shirt. Obviously many of the players turned around to see what was going on as they were making their way to a coach which was waiting for them right by the platform. Players like Mackie heard what was being sung as they were right by the fans. No one was digging people like Cisse or Hill out. I certainly haven't been happy with Mackie's performances this season. Some fans like him because he always tries his best, whilst my opinion is he is someone who is not good enough for where the club are at at the moment. The table does not lie. Mackie got a bit of stick for a few seconds. But he got on the bus. Cisse only got involved because he was backing his team mate up, but he got on the bus virtually straight away after. Fans were certainly not drunk and it was all over fairly quickly as fans went home and the players got back on the coach. As for the Stoke team. Jonathan Walters was on the other platform and he came over to say hello to Clint Hill. They must know each other from somewhere.
Fans frustration and I certainly include myself in that was not just about today's performance. All those on the train today like myself go week in and week out to follow the club that we want to do the best they can. For me I am sick and tired of turning the computer on every Friday to hear another Rangers player say how they're going to perform the following day. For me I wish they kept their mouths shut and got on with a performance their fans would be proud of. Frustration for me and others at Euston today were not at people like Hill who has been first class in the last few games. It is at people like Barton and SWP who through no fault of their own are on silly money and are simply not delivering. Some on here will argue you should 'support' the team and by God we do. The fact that most Rangers fans would have had to be up at 5/6am this morning to go up there and sadly see a performance from certain players which was not good enough for the name of QPR. I support and follow my club like all of you. I don't accept certain players not giving their all for the club. We all want to stay up, but I am sorry the fact that Barton tweeted tonight, 'ah well, f**k it' just shows the contempt he has for the fans who have spent a lot of money today.
A captain for me leads by example and drives the team on. Barton has not done that this season and his performance again today was abysmal. Some of the players we have give the attitude that they couldn't give a to55 about the shirt. We have had a dozen games against 'weak' opposition to put in some performances to get 3 points and we have done that once. How some people think we are certainly going to drastically change that for the remainder of the season is beyond me. I am a realist. I love my club like all of you and IF we go down next season, then yes I'll be there at Barnsley on a Tuesday night in January following my club. You can guarantee that people like SWP and Barton won't be up for it. I certainly know in my job that if I was not performing I would be getting grief from my boss. Imagine if these players were in a country like Spain, Italy or Turkey..........then they would hear about fan's frustration of their performances! If you are going to be in the 'best' league in the world and earn top dollar then I am sorry you have to accept that if you're not putting in the graft then the ordinary fans who spend thousands following the club making sacrifice after sacrifice are not going to be happy. If they can't handle the stick that comes with poor performances then they are in the wrong profession.
COYRs!:yush:
Hill and Mackie don't deserve the abuse, Barton and SWP on the other hand....**** em, **** right off a cliff, Diakatie learned from his mistake and at least Cissie delivered on his promise of a goal....
