Having said that today is they day we sealed our fate imo, so damage has already been done.
Think our fate was sealed with the loss at home to Wolves, that's when i accepted it,these games are just rubbing salt into our wounds. !!!

            Before things get twisted........Euston station...

Before anything gets twisted or sensationalised on message boards, Twitter or the media etc. Many Rangers were on the train coming back from Manchester after the game. When everyone got off at Euston it quickly became apparent the players were indeed on the same train. They had travelled back First Class in their own carriage with security guards not allowing anyone near them.

As many Rangers fans got off the train and I'll be the first to hold my hand up and say I didn't cover myself in too much glory songs were sung such as comments about the players wages and not doing their best for the shirt. Obviously many of the players turned around to see what was going on as they were making their way to a coach which was waiting for them right by the platform. Players like Mackie heard what was being sung as they were right by the fans. No one was digging people like Cisse or Hill out. I certainly haven't been happy with Mackie's performances this season. Some fans like him because he always tries his best, whilst my opinion is he is someone who is not good enough for where the club are at at the moment. The table does not lie. Mackie got a bit of stick for a few seconds. But he got on the bus. Cisse only got involved because he was backing his team mate up, but he got on the bus virtually straight away after. Fans were certainly not drunk and it was all over fairly quickly as fans went home and the players got back on the coach. As for the Stoke team. Jonathan Walters was on the other platform and he came over to say hello to Clint Hill. They must know each other from somewhere.

Fans frustration and I certainly include myself in that was not just about today's performance. All those on the train today like myself go week in and week out to follow the club that we want to do the best they can. For me I am sick and tired of turning the computer on every Friday to hear another Rangers player say how they're going to perform the following day. For me I wish they kept their mouths shut and got on with a performance their fans would be proud of. Frustration for me and others at Euston today were not at people like Hill who has been first class in the last few games. It is at people like Barton and SWP who through no fault of their own are on silly money and are simply not delivering. Some on here will argue you should 'support' the team and by God we do. The fact that most Rangers fans would have had to be up at 5/6am this morning to go up there and sadly see a performance from certain players which was not good enough for the name of QPR. I support and follow my club like all of you. I don't accept certain players not giving their all for the club. We all want to stay up, but I am sorry the fact that Barton tweeted tonight, 'ah well, f**k it' just shows the contempt he has for the fans who have spent a lot of money today.

A captain for me leads by example and drives the team on. Barton has not done that this season and his performance again today was abysmal. Some of the players we have give the attitude that they couldn't give a to55 about the shirt. We have had a dozen games against 'weak' opposition to put in some performances to get 3 points and we have done that once. How some people think we are certainly going to drastically change that for the remainder of the season is beyond me. I am a realist. I love my club like all of you and IF we go down next season, then yes I'll be there at Barnsley on a Tuesday night in January following my club. You can guarantee that people like SWP and Barton won't be up for it. I certainly know in my job that if I was not performing I would be getting grief from my boss. Imagine if these players were in a country like Spain, Italy or Turkey..........then they would hear about fan's frustration of their performances! If you are going to be in the 'best' league in the world and earn top dollar then I am sorry you have to accept that if you're not putting in the graft then the ordinary fans who spend thousands following the club making sacrifice after sacrifice are not going to be happy. If they can't handle the stick that comes with poor performances then they are in the wrong profession.

errr are you sure?! Some ######## went up to Mackie an kept repeating 'your ****, your ****' to which he had a nibble back. He then walked past me and I said just ignore them and his response was 'tell them to **** off then'. This was followed by Cisse moodily strolling past me (by the way...he has got one hell of an ego). Hill got a great reception and Most of the other players just got straight on the coach. It was just Mackie and Cisse who reacted.

Also Hughes didn't do anything to manage the situation. Stupid, stupid fans that have a go at the team though. What will that achieve?

Good post HammersmithR you and the other travelling Rs were a credit to our club today.
Can i just ask if you were having a go at players on massive money and not putting in the effort i don't think Mackie comes in that category, does he?
Today Mackie came on and livened the whole team up.

hammersmith, superb post, you said what we all feel without getting abusive and believe me sometimes that is hard to do. I'm 56 and been an r since the mid sixties, so I know the ups and downs following Rangers, but I'll tell you this, its been a long time since I've felt this pig sick after a result
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross

Appreciate the honesty and in some ways we will see the character of the players after this>

I just worry what kind of message it sends to the board and whether they think its all worth it>

After all they have invested time and more importantly money into this venture and some act as if we have devine right to be in the premiership, when in reality we don't. We are a much smaller club than many in the championship and yet we seem to be taking this all for granted.

Absolute rubbish. You don't think they will be thinking the same as the fans after seeing players like Barton (on supposedly 80k a week) put in a shift like that. They will be hacked off too. The only message it shows is how much the fans care and unfortuntley after a long trip up to Bolton were we get beat....emotions are gonna be high.

No way on earth would that make owners quit though...don't be silly!

Barton doesn't win football matches its the whole team.

They decided to pay him the money, thats up to them>

The fact we lost 2-1 today was not because of Joseph Barton it was more to do with the Pollock who was the linesman.
