Missed him for sure, but let's not forget that he has hardly set the Premier League alight. If we can't put together a team that works without a player who has performed on and off all season then we have serious problems.
Our main problem is we can't work a formation and tactic to play to the strengths of the players on the pitch. Zamora and Cisse need service, yet they constantly had to make diagonal runs out wide to get the ball because nobody was putting the ball into the box. The game was crying out for a bit of width, yet Barton and Wright-Phillips barely touched the ball out wide.Comment
