That's it - that was our last chance gone.

Not a hope of survival with our nightmare run in.

At least in the Championship we may win the odd game or two.

Our Championship team would have made a better showing this season.

Agree 100%! Not sure we would have survived but we would have been in with a chance, this team will be officially relegated with 3 0r 4 matches left to play!

Fernandes has stated in todays daily express he wants a long term manager to see through the total rebuilding of the club. Fully expect hughes to stay, he wont go anywhere else (cv will be shot) as to players will depend on any escape clauses they have in thier contract (phil beard is a smart cookie) expect hughes's signings to stay think he will ship out all the old deadwood, think kenny will be on his way. A lot of lessons can be learnt from newcastle, bolton and wba who got relegated, kept majority of "big" names and came back stronger.

My overall take is 5 years ago there was nearly no rangers. The future under fernandes, his fellow owners and phil beard fills me with enthusiasm. This season went wrong pre season - roll on next season whatever league we are in we will be stronger as a club

To be honest, mate....I think I knew our fate was sealed the week we dropped two points against Aston Villa from a 2-0 lead, and then topped that off with a 1-2 defeat at home to bleedin' Wolves.

last chance gone?... even if we won today it by no means meant we were safe, so the fact we lost doesn't really change anything coz our run in is hideous!
