Well life is full off sacrifices I guess still you must get your priorities right.

Alternatively you could start shopping at Lidls or Aldi, ok the food is not quite Waitrose or Sainsburys but you'll be able save a little extra for a ST and there will be food in your kids stomachs!

You wanna know the truth its a **** take, funny thing is no one has ever asked me they just make assumptions. Me and a mate went to the players evening thing with Sousa last season, and on the way out we took a wrong turn and ended up in the Boutique corridor. I see that on the wall and couldn't stop laughing and got my photograph taken next too it.

I'm not not pro Boutique, Project or Falvio. I am pro QPR and I want the best for my club and despite a number of mistakes by the board including OTT tickets I do think we are heading in the right direction.

I don't attack fans who genuinely can't afford to go although Sharpy did ask for a bit of banter back and he got it. In order for this club to move forward you can't expect the board to stick their hands in the pocket continuosly. You must assume we have to become self sufficient to bring economic stability to the club not become a bottom less pit of debt. If we are to compete and get promoted on 13k corwds from the CCC then sacrifices will have to be made.

To come close to balancing the books we need to generate an equivilant income of a club who gets 25000 attendances a week. Firstly high Season Ticket & Matchday Ticket prices are necessary; Sponsorship deals; Corporate Facilities; A Merchandise drive (Boutique Fashions & the unecessary 3rd kits) will bring in the sort of income this club has never seen. On the pitch we bring in high profile free transfers, players who are nearly out of contract for next to nothing and sell unrequired squad players at a profit.

The business model is there right in front of your eyes and its not going to change - its not perfect but this club is becoming stronger and stronger as a result of it. Personally can't see ST prices going up again until we are promoted then I think they will go another £100. Bet we have no problem selling them though because everyone wants a piece of The Predictableship - which would actually make some of our support a bit fickle but that is just my opinion.

I do genuinely believe that there are supporters who will struggle to get to games next year or won't renew because of their financial circumstances. However, IMO there are probably just as many people ****ing and moaning about it for the sake of it.

Sharpy I apologise if I have offended you and others alike who financially are not in the best position but I don't apologise for attacking those fans of ours who use ST prices as leveraged to attack the club at every given oppurtunity just for the sake of it.

There is no line to be drawn when it comes to QPR as far as I'm concerned

QPR (not Flavio) rely on people like me and others alike who are prepared to put there hands in their pockets and invest in the clubs future. I don't feel fleeced at all my ST costs £700 thats equal to £30 a match big deal I just done £30 in Pizza Express half an hour a go taking the missus for a bite to eat.

I mean seriously we are talking about a couple hundred pounds here, yes our STs are overpriced but you come across as cynical & bitter and glad the club haven't sold as many ST's and are using a 'desperate' marketing campaign.

You say our stadium will never be the same I say that is ******, a good start to the season playing some entertaining football and the place will be rocking. Either put or shut up, your club needs you not Flavio et al so stop sniping at the club because I'd sooner fans who continually attack the club of late stay away.

Im glad you can afford it, lots of people can't. One day you might not be so lucky as to afford a pint of milk let alone a season ticket.

We do not have the likes of Jack Hayward, Jack Walker or Steve Gibson running this club. If they were going to spend some serious money they would have done it by now but they haven't.

2 months ago someone on DotOrg posted the Mittals were intereted in buying up White City as the Council wants to relocate the residents. Now this fella got dismissed and laughed at but a few weeks ago in the Evening Standard or Times (can't remember) this story actually came to light - not about the Mittals but relocating the residents and knocking down White City. Wouldn't mind digging up that story if anyone knows anything about it, its something what could only happen if the Conservatives win the next Election (which they will)?

Abramovich, Glaziers, Hicks & Gillette, the Man City sheiks, Randy Lerner etc.etc. None of those have 'emotional' ties to their clubs either. I realise we're still a CCC club with low attendences, but you take my point. But once we reach the promised land I believe we have potential crowds of at least 25,000 (as you referred to earlier). We'd have to move ground though which no doubt would be unpopular.

very interesting tho, i remember months & months ago putting up here that the BBC were going to get the F1 from ITV (and was laughed at) with these guys it's you scratch my back & I'll scratch yours, wouldn't be at all surprised if we bought the BBC site (and maybe the white city site as well) but i think the latter will go to private housing (there's still a bundle of cash to be made from new developments) but you never know & if anyone can, then the Mittals can as they have the finance to do it!

as for decent players, i do worry about our strategy on the "getting to the premiership" and the way we are trying to do it! because when we are there (and we will be sooner then later) what is their strategy going to be, do it on the cheap! because we all know you just can't do it that way, you've got to spend 10's of millions just to stay there, and the way we are going about things i just don't think the club will do what's needed, could be wrong tho!

Sorry mate but there is no comparison whatsoever to be drawn between us Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd or Chelsea. 4 absolutely masssive clubs, doesn't matter how much investment the board make we will never be in their league. Potentially we could get 25000, but week in week out we'd be lucky to get 18000. I'm a realist we will always be a small club, seriously if our board wanted to compete with the as before mentioned teams then they could have bought Newcastle, Tottenham or West Ham in the PL. If they wanted a CCC team then Sheff Weds, Notts Forest or League 1 what about Leeds. I'm sorry but its never going to happen on the scale which many dream off, I'm blame Briatore and that stupid Champions League comment personally.

The sort of investment required to turn QPR into Champions League contenders would be financial suicide and its just not going to happen. Saying that Mittals stock recently went up 10% so you never know lol.

The reported reasons Flavio chose QPR out of all the other clubs you refer to are:

a) Our location, saying it was the closest London club to the city centre and as such had huge potential. (Ecclestone originally wanted Arsenal or Chelsea but Flav persuaded him to come in to QPR).

b) Because he was excited about the challenge of building up a smaller club, taking it to the top, from the brink of extinction, which is where we were at the time.

Yes the Champions League comment was naive at best and downright foolish at worst. But Mittal is still Europe's richest man so like you say - "you never know".

In the mid-70s we were AVERAGING 25,000 crowds, and that was when we were a much poorer club than we are today and being run by a 2nd hand car salesman. Our record attendance is about 38,000. If we were to eventually move stadium who's to say what our potential crowds could be now that we have all this investment.
