I think it was Warnock who delivered olly, Flavio had to take a step back because he was on the verge of being lynched, Bernie was probably getting fed up and just wanted rid, but needed promotion to make it worth while.
I do think he wanted success but wanted it as cheap as poss, and 3 years of failure, sharpened their minds they needed an expert.
