  • I miss flavio

after watching the four year plan, i was shocked at not seeing owners wanting to finish off my club and not using it as some sort of fashion exsesserie as some people on rangers message boards portrayed it to be.

what i saw last night from the likes of the FLAVman and his italian monkey boy was nothing but passion in wanting qpr to gain success.

sure flav has no ability in football but does not lower himself to go on self indulgent pub crawls with the fans.

i wish to once again THANK the flavman and monkey boy for saving and propelling us into the premier league.

          well

well flavio just thought running a football club was like running a chain of clothing shops, his idea to sack everything that moved was ridiculous, you can do that sort of thing in retail management but you have to feel sorry for magilton and sousa and mick harford, they were not given any support

Now that we have a distance to it it was nice to see that they really wanted to do well but just failed. I felt sorry for Gianni he really wanted to do the rightthing for the club but from the 4y plan you can really tell he is not the most wise guy on the planet. Flavio and his mob style of leadership was never meant for football period.

Not saying Sousa, Magilton, Dowie etc were the greatest managers but they never stood a chance of being a success with Flavio. There's no denying he wanted success, but I think that was more for his own ego and the cash that came with it rather than for the clubs benefit.remember all the crap players these managers had signed for them? I was actually feeling sorry for all of them last night getting constantly abused and insulted. As for the fans he thought we were all a load of w######. I think they bought the club at the right time, but sold it a few months too late. He came across as a bit of an ars###xx ....

but i still hate wilkins more than briatore because he took us down and we had 15 seasons in the lower divisions because of him, at least briatore got us promoted

Whatever you might think, Flavio and Bernie did keep their promise and got us to the Premiership. I know the 4 year journey was a bad joke with the sackings and number of players but they did get us up there.

So what did Bernie and Flvio do to get us in the Prem last season? Did Tommy Smith's shot deflect off Ecclestone's moptop at Watford or am I missing something?

It takes a short time to blur the memory:

Warnock was Amit's appointment and he only agreed to join on the proviso that Briatore did not interfere in transfer, tactics or selection

Lakshmi Mittal had refused to put any further money into the club because he was appalled at the way Briatore was running the club and ignoring the input of Amit

The most useful thing that happened at that point was Briatore stepped down as Chairman and allowed Amit to run the club and Warnock the team.

Had this not have happened we would be watching a threadbare team patched up with loanee stiffs and anonymous continental imports sourced by Gianni (anyone remember Jason Jarrett? Di Carmine? Pellirocci?) in a half empty stadium with a poisonous atmosphere, managed by any old ex-pro willing to earn a few bob to coah the side with Flavio telling him who to pick.
