Obviously we will aim to get as many as possible, but I can't for a second see the cut off to survive being as high asa 35. Said for a while that I think there could be a record low survival number this year as they all keep losing.
Clue is the fact we've been getting some dreadful results and still not been in the zone.
Check the history books, a couple of teams at the bottom always get a run of form at the end of the season and pick up unlikely points, this year will be no different. I'm certain that nobody will be staying up on 32 points.
Dont think any of the bottom 5 will get anywhere near 40pts so I'm in agreement there. But still feel that 35-36 pts will be needed? still leave's us needing 14 pts more and I'm having trouble seeing where these are going to come from?
Too much dreamy speculation into the mists of time
We should just keep our focus on the next game and next game only
Having said that I'm supremely confident that we will survive comfortably this season
We have definitely turned the corner
Can't see us getting more than another 12 points, so lets hope 33 is enough. Having said that I expect us to get a shock win from one of our games against the top 5 so maybe 36!
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

to stay up we need 4/5 points from the top 6. that assuming we take points from bolton away, wba away and stoke at home.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

I can see us winning vs Bolton, Swansea and WBA and getting a point vs Sunderland, Liverpool and Stoke. But if Man City have won the league by 13th May I would not put it past us to win there

It's quite unbelievable how we are still out of the drop zone. Seems like the last 5 games have all been must win and we got a grand total of 2 points. Still feel more optimistic than ever.
I still think 32 will be enough, like we said the bottom 5 are so poor that none will reach 40.
Look at it this way we perform better against higher teams such as arsenal and man city/liverpool etc so I'm confident we can sneak some points.
it starts when we play liverpool.... trust me, anyone can beat anyone in this league ;-)
As much as we might play better against the top sides only beaten 1 & drawn with 1 of the top 7
beaten Chelsea and what a mess ther're in and drew with newcastle at home.
Lost to Man city,Man utd,Liverpool Newcastle Arsenal & Spurs. Not so sure on your optimisum but we live in hope!
