He makes mistakes but we're far better with him in the team than without. Good thing is that most qpr fans realise that...as does the manager.
I didn' say he was doing any fancy stuff, only he gifted them posession, which is correct. The fact is we had a break on and he had runners beyond him and an easy out ball to the full back, but instead chose to cut back and try to beat a man he didn't need to. He lost the ball and the rest is history.
And he has given the ball away plenty this season whether you want to accept it or not, no different on Saturday. Against Fulham especially his passing was awful, yet many won't hear a bad word against him, but will be very vocal about the likes of SWP and Barton. It's laughable.
Yes he's putting in a shift, but that should be the bare minimum... the fact it's highlighted more with Taraabt is simply becasue he's working harder than he did in the past, not harder than anyone else in the team.

I have no issues with SWP or Barton. I think this is one where we will have to agree to disagree.

If he can improve this, which i'm sure he will, then he will only get better, which is good for us.
I do find it very frustrating though when he fails to make simple passes (even simpler given his talent). I can only assume it's a lack of concentration, and again if he sort this he could become a real star player for us, especially next season when we start afresh, hopefully in the prem, with Hughes and his team.

he shouldn't really be that deep in my opinion. He's going looking for the ball so he can influence the game but his game involves taking risks. It's fine to try and beat a man around their penalty area but not in our own half. Thought he reacted well to the mistake as Hughes said in the interview.

Funny old game, eh?
