yeah i dont even wanna slaughter stewart cos i dont dislike him as much as i said and im glad we have him in the squad. but i would just put hall in front of him lol. anyway hopefully they will both have great seasons ;)

Stewart is powerful, fast, great in the air and a decent tackler, all the attributes of a top defender.

Concentration and positional sense are the most important, neither of which he posseses. If he had them, he'd be a world class defender. Withouth them, he's a liability.

Hall is a good Prem defender, we know this, but he doesn;t seem to do it at this level. Different league, different style of football.

But with all the injuries knocking around at the moment, and the squad announced - none of the following in for tomorrow : Cerny (ill), Oastler, Rose, Leigertwood (thigh), Buzsaky (thigh), Faurlin (thigh), Connolly, Cook. Plus the fact Vignal looks like he's not going to be signed, which leaves us with NO DECENT 2ND KEEPER, NO DECENT RIGHT FULL BACK GOING FORWARD (ALA DAVID BARDSLEY), NO DECENT RECOGNISED LEFT FULL BACK AND FINALLY NO DECENT RECOGNISED 20 GOAL A SEASON STRIKER THAT WILL FIRE US OUT OF THIS LEAGUE AND INTO THE PROMISED LAND WHO HAS EXPERIENCE OF NOT ONLY THE ENGLISH GAME, BUT THIS PAIN IN THE A*SE LEAGUE TO GET OUT OF! Therefore, based on that, my assumption of tomorrows line up will probably be more like this :
