As we all know Mr Joey B "occasionally" :yush: gives the odd tweet that is out of line or gets him in trouble. He generally just tweets rubbish and is one of the most boring people on there imo, but players seem to think that what they put on twitter wont come back to bite 'em. Macheda, Ranger etc are all in trouble for their comments, JB could of gone to jail, Ishmeal Miller got in trouble for swaering on it. I just think that footballers should not use twitter, not because what they are saying is any way offensive to me at any time, its just they are sucker for punishment by having it. There will be plenty more players in trouble im sure from comments on a social network. Maybe its time to accept that if you are constantly in the spotlight and you get over £10,000 a week, giving up your social networking is not too much of a sacrifice (except for Joey Barton who wouldnt exist without twitter). I know the other side of the argument is that it brings players closer to the fans etc but it actually doesnt, I could not care less what SWP had in his sandwich or what JB thinks about the smiths!
