I noticed that and it really f cuked me off. Adel for all his faults did try on saturday, albeit he wasnt at the races. Why wasnt Captain marvel Barton having a go at SWP or lazy b0ll0x Zamora?
\because he would get a ban from here for being racist!
We don't have any team spirit, could you see this side coming from 2-0 down at Derby or back to win at Palace away?
There are no leaders, no one to inspire, lead by example and grab the game by the scruff of the neck
Half the team are on 6k and week and half are on 60k
The pressure on the team is enormous- from TF, Hughes, the fans and each other (particularly from Barton who seems to spend most of his time berating team mates who have made mistakes).
All in all, we're not a team at all at the moment, we're a group of strangers that have been assembled from all over the place. Chances are we'll be the same until the summer.
no one is on 6k a week , they all got a big bonus for promotion and must of had clauses in contracts for an increase if we got to the premiership
sparky needs to manage, on the pitch barton is the chosen captain therefore he should be listened to ... perhaps he was moaning at adels pathetic shots at goal they were more like back passes
anyone allowed to moan at Bartons pin point passes

I would have you right if Barton's performances were inspirational and showed leadership. You simply cannot shout and scream at every other player if you perform poorly yourself at the same time. It won't wash and doesn't work.
Also, there is a huge difference between having little groups or cliques and having friction. I don't buy that every club has it for a minute. You can see which clubs have good team spirit...they won't big divisions. Hughes played under Sir Alex and he would never stand for damaging divisions, he even made sure cole and teddy kept it to well away from the rest of the squad - let's hope he learned something.
All this about the trip to Potugal being fractious - I recall it was alleged that Cisse and Hill had a punch up and the former broke the latters nose
Clint didn't appear to be showing the signs of a broken nose on Saturday - hence why I say all the poisonous rumours are exactly that
Spot on
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
the thing that worries me as the saying goes "Theres no smoke without fire" message boards can be sacrily accurate. When i watched the four year plan in was like someone had taken 4 years worth of WATRB'S threads and turned it into a film!
what the 65 out of 72 passes completed on Saturday you mean?
Bluntly put..Barton was the worst player on the pitch for me Saturday and has yet to put in a MOM performance since his arrival, as I stated on my previous thread...he needs dropping plan and simple. He does not deserve his place in the starting 11..
What sort of captain moans at a player such ad Taarabt who put in a great deal of effort Saturday!...BARTON!!!... And what about the hand Shandy signal too mackie? He thinks he's something special!..he is not..bench on Saturday for me..regardless of the options we have to replace him.
Furthermore I would wager £50 that Taarabt would score and put in a man of the match performance if Barton is not on the pitch.. And the captain should be Ferdinand
There is a big difference between the (overrated) team spirit and belief. What we lack at the moment is belief and confidence, with that the former will follow. We will only get the confidence and belief when we get the ball in the back of the onion bag regularly, the defence keep a clean sheet and Paddy kenny makes a diving save with the ball not being closer than 10cm either side.
Re on field leadership people who only criticise but do not praise are not leaders not matter how vocal they are, leadership is about knowing when to praise, when to criticise and when to sympathise. We only have one leader in our squad and that is not Derry or Barton but Clint Hill and after Saturday I'd be inclined to start him every week from now on at centre half
