if you don't think the drummer is tight enough, we could go for a drum machine. Lots of modern outfits go down that road these days.

Seriously, listen out for out chants dying off next week when the drummer bangs way too fast on random notes. Then you can all share my pet hate!LONDON CALLING TO THE ZOMBIES OF DEATH.... ALSO KNOW AS BRENTFORD FANS

So we have a go at the one person who is trying to get an atmosphere going?
you must be avin a larf. Far more important things to worry about like team performances for one.
I wish we had the noise of a Blackpool had last season, because we are very good dishing out loud abuse at players which is really going to get them motivated.
The atmosphere we have is practically non-existent and forget about Loftus Road being a fortress. The only game we exceeded that was against Chelsea, which a game we coincindently won.
Loftus Road has become an easy place for opposing players to play at even more worryingly we get outsang time after time by away fans. We used to match teams with vocals but now we are even allowing sets of supporters from Fulham to outsing us.
Good on the guy who bangs the drum, at least his trying to get fans singing.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Geng wasn't suggesting he stops tbf, more that he gets better.
Before anyone starts on me, I'd be happier if we didn't need musical accompaniment, but we apparently need something to get us going...Last edited by DeepcutHoop; 27-02-2012, 02:05 PM.

A drum should be used to maintain rhythm. The guy yesterday was hammering away on every singing note, with sporadic stops and starts. He also drums way too fast. We don't need to chant at a million miles an hour.
Several times yesterday PQR blocks started off a chant and the drummer killed it off by hammering too fast and with no rhythm. It's really hard to maintain a good chant when someone is drumming badly over it, or at least in a different time. At Swansea away this season their drummer very effectively ruined our chanting momentum several times simply by playing a different tune with a big pounding rhythm.
I really do appreciate a good drummer. But let's get some lessons for our guy first...Top Scorers 2018/2019

Good for him, indeed. I really do appreciate the effort and the balls required to do this, and I like things like drums etc to get atmosphere going.
However the drumming on saturday actually had a negative effect on our chanting. Constantly killing chants just as they were getting going. Weird tempos that made it hard to join in.
You should dust off your drumsticks and get back to Q block...
