  • I wonder if mark hughes regrets taking the qpr job?

I was talking to my mate in the pub last night after the game, and we were saying if Hughes regrets taking the QPR job now, he has spent the most money, taking us straight back down, surely this must damage his reputation. Now I know whey Warnock was happy to leave as perhaps he felt he couldn't save them.

Also he has a clause in his contact that we we are relegated then he can walk away.

    Discuss.

Mark Hughes wouldn't be human if he didn't wonder if it was the wisest thing coming to a club like ours.

      I think he does!
But they say he also is a slow starter in every club he manages.
But time is running out, rapidly.

I don't know about Hughes, but I regret him taking the job, at least when he did.

It must be soul destroying loosing the 3 must win games in Wolves, Blackburn and Fulham.

I wonder what his back up plan must be, surely he has plan B.

Why not take the players away for a break in the sun, works wonders apparently.

              he's in a win win:
either we stay up "i did well and worked my magic"
we go down "i didn't get the funds from the board and the players weren't up for it"

don't think he regrets it, he knows exactly what he's taken on.

I think he does as he figured he would have picked u more points by now. If we go down and he walks its not going to do his reputation any good, in fact apart from the big clubs most will stay away as he would have shown he is not up for a fight.

He cant say he wasnt backed as no one in the lower half signed the so called quality we did and sent the money we did (if u include the wages).

I think MH wants a top 6 job again and us going down will hit that !
