I know he ****ed it up for us today but I saw glimpses of a very good footballer there. Good feet, strong and fast. Faurlin and him running the midfield would be a joy to watch.

He only played for half hour but was still our best player by far

Am i the only person to feel that MH should take a large portion of the blame for his sending off. He was put into a heated London Derby and obviously wanted to show his supporters what he could do.He got stuck in,moved the ball well and also got 3 warnings by the ref in the first 10 minutes in which he then got booked.Every body around me was calling for Hughes to take him off as you could see what was round the corner and for those who will say "you cant do that after such a small amount of time on the pitch" well yes you can if its a case of stabalising the team

Only one match for those 2 yellows.
Shame, because he was starting to plug the gap.
Hughes shouldn't have advised him to be aggressive...needed a different word and clear direction on how far he could go with his challenges in this league.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

He was starting to settle in the game with the ball at his feet but his tackling was all over the place...needed captain marvel to calm him down but obviously he was incapable.

He was a one man midfield

When you've got to put in 3 times as many tackles due shorn shite Phillips and 60k Barton alongside you then you got probs

                    Going down with the merecenaries
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

He played like a madman, cost us, although I blame Hughes for not takfing him off.

When he had the ball he definitely showed he had talent! He was playing like a madman but he's getting used to the english game (obviously) so he'll learn eventually.
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

I've never seen a red card that was more inevitable than today, you could see it a mile off and it was only a matter of time.

Hughes should have hauled him off beforehand or Barton should have spoken to him - both failed in their duties in that regard.
