i'm in a position now to just expect our players to be poor.
we are not a good side.
we have average, at best, players.
    Barton is one of those.

Anyone thinking he should be dropped is deluded. In fact I am seriously beginning to wonder exactly where all these knobs have sprouted from this season - oh hang on it's the premier - jeez we've had an awful lot of worse players than Barton these last 20 years and just because some chinese whispers says he earns 80k a week it's suddenly become gospel and fans turn on him.

Barton is and always has been an average premier league player - nothing more, nothing less - simple fact is we haven't had 11 premier league players on the pitch this season (lately we've struggled having 11 players full stop).

At the start of the season I expected us to finish bottom with the squad we had and the signings we made pre season. When the ******s sold out and we brought a few in I thought we might just have a chance of staying up. As the season went on I was convinced we'd go down with Warnock clearly out of his depth. Hughes is a good appointment but his sides always start slowly - check out his record. Still think we could nick 4th bottom and I would have bitten your arm off for that in August.

Lay off Barton - ffs - he is NOWHERE near as bad as being made out.

He doesn't deserve to be captain he does not even look to motivate the team when we are a goal down . Him and swp need to go in the summer we need younger and more talented players who want to wear the hoops not because there getting paid to wear them.

where are you going to find these players? we're a small club, been out of top flight football for 15 years and have a trophy cabinet smaller than a kitchen draw.
as much as i love QPR, we need to understand it's a slow process to become a force in football nowadays. if we need to pay large money, or get a few experienced players by paying them loads then so be it.

The delivery from our many corners and set pieces was not good enough at all. Outside of that Barton played most of the game alongside SWP in midfield and so obviously had an incredible amount to do and by and large did the job well. We werent that bad with 10 men and Joey has to take credit for this. The alternatives right now are just completely non-existent, Diakite will be now be banned for 1 game as well.

                  His positives.

Receives the ball well and is calm under pressure
                  Scores the odd goal

                  His negatives.

Is not vocal or constructive enough to be a captain
                  is slow on the turn
                  passes go astray
                  is poor at set pieces

                  average joey

JB has never been a wonderful player and none of us fans saw enough of him before we signed him to know how good he actually was. In a side with better players he looks better, but in a R's shirt with dross around him he lojoks average at best coz he is only average at best.

You know you have a average player when he can't cross a ball from a set peace with no pressure on him he is ****ing ****

I agree -- if we'd stuck with last year's team with a couple of additions, we might very well have gone down (but who knows?) but at least it wouldn't have been without a fight.
Knee-jerk reaction after the first loss was a shame -- we have just signed one 'name' after another and ended up with a load of puzzle pieces which don't fit together.
This lot will let us slid down without so much as a whimper, then take the money and run.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

And this post sums it all up - no he isn't ****ing **** he is an average premier league league player and as such he is probably amongst our better players.. Some people need a reality check and remove the blinkers...

Cisse´s sending off didn´t excatly help the rest of the team in the gelling process either. I feel it was a huge let down for Zamora Especially.

Gone down without a fight? kindly remind me of our first game of this season... We had a squad who over achieved last season and got exposed big time in this league. Meanwhile Norwich & Swansea signed early and built a strong bond between the players. If you want to blame anyone for this mismash of a season then the blame firmly lays at FB, BE & GP - absol;ute ***** that we will take a good few years to get over...
