I never said it was something to be proud of, I purely stated it as an observation. I think its incredibly sad that people can behave in ways which are contrary to social harmony

None of that will stop me posting, but you suggested that the 'labelling' was very one sided, when that was patently not true.

You only have to look at the videos from Portugal to see the French Africans, Black Londoners and White Players and their seperate clicks.

After the summer transfer window I had my concerns we had too many rudeboys from London in the squad and following the Janaury transfer window too many French Africans.

It's why we won the Champioship last season because the majority off Warnocks team were of a similar ilk to himself...good for team cohesion and moral IMO

If you are below the age of 40 and went to an inner City school in London you'd know why I say that.
So its balance over ability even if you are British.

Where do white non british players fit into this balance???

But I don't want to insult you . I'm happy to debate your views, though.

I realise you seem to be arguing on the side of 'free speech', which is a potentially laudable position.

I believe that the right to free speech (if we indeed have it) should be treated with some thought and respect, and if you are likely to cause great offence with what you want to say, either don't say it, or try and find a way to do it without causing offence. In other words just because you have the right to say what you like, doesn't mean that you should. As I've said before, The Golden Rule. Most people are aware where the acceptable line is.

The to-and-fros that have occurred on this board could usually have been done in a more reasonable fashion, but there's been some really nasty stuff lately (certainly in this thread). The stuff around the homosexuality thread, was mainly school playground level humour, but not nasty in the main, but race always seems to go over the line somehow.

I would be careful filling my squad with a load of rudeboys personally.

I think white non british players can fit into this balance very well.

Its strange really when you think about it because a higher % of black players in a squad would be more off a problem IMO over a higher % of white. I really do think it changes the dynamics off a changing room in football in this country.

It was only a matter off time before this debate would crop up on here but I think its relevant.

                    I agree.

I think the majority of the squad will stay but I think Hill/derry/kenny will be off to Leeds, I can't see Tarrabt/Cisse/Onuha staying as I think West Ham will want them.

Just to clarify, how are you defining 'rudeboys'?

The labels keep coming thick and fast, I'm running out of room in the back window of my Range Rover, I'll have to take off my National Trust sticker soon....

                            Any more for me?

I think he works hard for the team, puts a lot of effort into keeping the teams shape but what has happened to the player who used to go past players like they werent there (not for us I hasten to add). he looks like a year 5 kid who has been asked to play for a year 6 team..
