Well, I keep hearing that because he is Italian he won't like the weather. He could do no more than score and the weather was atroicious.

Good signing and gives us options

Surely "attacking options" includes your attacking midfielders as well as strikers, so he isn't wrong, is he?
Buzz, Rowlands, Vine, Taarabt, Routledge, Cook, Pellicori, Fuarlin, Agymang, Helguson, Balanta are all attacking players...doesn't look too bad to me!

Why not just sign him for a year with a few quid more for his wages, see how he does and then maybe extend it?

surely it would be cheaper to do this than give out 3/4 year deals willy nilly to players who dont stay that long.

How long has Dave got left on his deal by the way??

Good luck tho' happy to be proved wrong
Thank **ck thats all over with !!! need a holiday!!!

Not sure If he is the answer, specially he spent most of his time below Serie A. I do not understand why risking the club 3 years contract.

Why not just loan him like Carmine if we get his poor return of 2 goals in 25 we are in trouble

I suppose the benefit of giving a longer term contract is if we do get promoted and a player still has 18 months - 2 years left of his contract they would be worth more in the transfer market. You could potentially make a profit on the sale of the player. Obviously this is risky but the current backers can afford to take the odd risk, can't they?

Agree Larkspur, one further point on picalilly is 18 goals in any italian league is a good return considering their dull slow style of football
