  • QPR boss Mark Hughes ready to wield the axe

Mark Hughes has begun to plan a mass summer clear-out at Queens Park Rangers. The disciplinarian boss has surprised a clutch of players with his methods.

Culture shock eh. Good man Mark Hughes, pity some couldn't have received an electric shock.

Is this just more rubbish or are some of our players simply beyond belief?

According to the website, the training looked good and positive, with the golf presumably offering "bonding" opportunities.

Surely the players weren't just expecting a jolly.

Of course there'll be a cull; there's no way these workshy boys are going to hang around in the Championship where they WILL have to work for their money...

I know we have been sh1t since he came and no-one has really shone but he cant be impressed with SWP's 'performances'. I know i havent.
I hope he drops him today to be fair but cant see it

So who could these players be? Most seem proffessional enough

Paddy possibly doesn't strike me as a big lover of training and a def Warnock man but I just can't see it
Barton always a lot to say and has a new born but has praised Sparky

The culprit could be Fitz but I just don't like him so would always put him up!!

Nah....... This is daily rag bull I reckon. We'll see a fully committed squad today steaming their way to a 3-0 win

              Please!
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

You could be right, its like the latest one " The players want to put things right against Fulham", " Most of that squad who played in the 6-0 defeat wand to set the record straight".

What are the chances the players will flop?

Agree. Swp has been shocking this season, apart from one or 2 games. Problem is, he's the only natural right winger we have. Mackie proved against Blackburn he's a striker not a winger, Adel is wasted on the right...we have to put up with him and hope Hughes gets him back to his best.

Bit of a non story in my eyes. We all know we have a lot of dead wood in the club and it looks like MH will be getting rid to bring his own players, Think the headline is trying to make something out of nothing

More to the point, can anyone shed any light on his 'training methods' that have caused the so-called culture shock?

apparently Hughes is insisting that the players start passing to team mates and not the opposition!..... a few are probably shell shocked by that

I think he's trying to make our players last 90 minutes, the more tired you get the more mistakes you make.
