Boro cd be a rival, both because they are a big club just down from the prem, and also because they've been sniffing for a while. But surely we must be more attractive to him than the other two. Maybe this is the striker Pete's sauce was alluding to. Sign him and Spurr and I think we cd be bang on the money next season.

Attitude or not, he would definitely score goals. To be honest with him not needing a transfer fee it's worth giving him the inflated wages he wants for a season to see what happens... if he does the business and we get promoted, it will be pennies to the riches that follow, if not, then we could always sell him for a fee.... no brainer really.

How can Palace afford Litas wages?

I hear from Ipswich fans Magilton has a massive problem with big time charlies and Lita would certainly fall into this catergory. Can't remember who he fell out with but once he did the player(s) were virtual outcasts from the squad. There is no doubt Lita will score goals especially with the flair in our midfield but with his sort of form what happens if he starts throwing his toys out of the pram becasue hes 'premiership innit'.

I would imagine Lita would become our highest paid player ever if he signed, I'm hearing figures quoted at over 20k a week. How would it affect the rest of the squad if there was a fall out between him and the managment for what ever reason. Everyone deserves a fresh start and all that but despite everyone screaming and shouting about signing him here we are less than 2 weeks before the start of the season and the man hasn't got himself a club yet.

Key to any promotion bid is good morale within the squad with everyone pulling in the same direction but then again good man management underlines this as well. I was always under impression if he signed for a CCC team it would be us, I guess now we'll have to wait and see. I'm sure many would see him as the final piece in the jigsaw if a LB signs too push for promotion if we get him and in all fairness he is the best available and within our price range so lets go get him (even if I think his attitude stinks).
