Take an interest from afar mate; dont go to the races but I try and keep upto date with the goings on there and have meself a few punts (based upon stealing info from a few mates thats know their stuff abit!).

1 of the subbys we use at work takes a couple of our lads there on the Friday in their helicopter, give em the full works. Unfortunatley though, I'm too low down the food chain for such treatment yet :strive:

Doing the week would be class though; have to admit I am rather envious!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Its one of those things you have to do once.
I went last year, opening day, and had a great time.

I booked everything online in advance http://www.cheltenham.co.uk/ Tattersalls enclosure, which was very lively with the irish mix, and Moscow Flyer restaurant at 12.00 which was expensive for a big tent, but great food. Had a pic taken with the Champion Hurdle trophy for free, won a couple of races to break even, and it's a day of memories you keep.

I'd like to go again, but every 3 or 4 years is about right. But the British Grand Prix must be done every year imo.

My tip this year, Quevega. V short price but is different class and will win easy. Maybe double up with Sprinter Sacre.

                    Friday 16th March mate

We split the price of the coach equally between all who go so looking about £20 I reckon and we always have a couple of spare tickets to get in

Definitely one of the things to do in life before you Part This Mortal Coil!

I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Five hours in a Guinness tent sounds great! I thought this festival was a music show until now!
