    TBH Hughes can be ruthless i'm sure and if Diakite hits the ground running, which i hope he does, i wouldn't be surprised if Joey was "rested" for the odd game before the end of the season. Would serve as a wake up call for him and basically say pull your finger out son, you ain't all that and never will be.
