Agreed there isn't that much to chose from but bring Fitz in against their forward line was a weakness taking Onoura out of C/D adds to the weakness last week on LFW they were debating playing Mackie at R/B and leaving Fitz out Which is what I would have thought a bolder more positive move of coarse in hindsight Mackie wouldn't have scored 2 goal's but we still lost anyway

And there sums up perfectly what's wrong with so many fans. They berate the fact he played a lifelong CB at CB who had been solid in recent weeks, and then suggest it would've been better to play a forward, who's previously been played out of position at RM with little success, at RB... yeah that should solve the defensive frailties....

I can just imagine what the debate would've been like after Hoilett ripped him a new one and he'd quite likely have given away a pen with a clumsy "forwards tackle" in the box.

As I said #### me off if you like Fitz has never been solid since he arrived he has played ok for Fitz at times ,you talk as though Hoilet is a world beater he is a good player no more than that but one thing nobody can deny Fitz was going to Blackburn to play against the premier league's in form Center Forward ,now tell me you were suprised he scored

Come on, cut him some slack, maybe his keyboard is broken.
After all, as we all know, when keyboards break you can only type in uppercase.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

I wasn't slagging you off. You said "they were debating it last week on LFW" so i was referring to them.

I don't talk as though Hoilett is a world beater at all, only a good prem Winger (who many on here were hopeful we'd sign last month by the way) who would simply relish the chance of playing against a forward playing out of position at right back, as any decent winger would.

Out of interest please explain what Makes anyone think Mackie would be a good full back....? If he did win the ball back he'd probably try to beat 3 men and lose the ball on the edge of our box. no thanks.

The irony here is that on the Taiwo thread you were slating MH for playing and internationlly regarded LB because he may not have played many games this year, and then suggest he should've played a forward at full back in this thread, who's maybe played there about 20 mins in his whole career.....

Also as for Fitz.... was it not Ferdinand that got turned inside out by Yakubu for their goal.....??

No there was no slating I was questioning Hughes wisdom for Playing a player that wasn't match fit due to lack of games this late in the season ,like I said having seen Mackie play R/B quite comfortably against a good championship side imo worth the risk I would rather Mackie against Hoilet than a central defence containing Fitz against Yakubu ,unless you try player in different position you never know

"Hughes has shown an unbelievable lack of judgement thowing him straight into the side"

                          I would suggest that's a slating.

Anyway, i'm not saying it's not a valid argument because it is, but imagine the comments had he played a forward at RB and we'd then lost.... he would've gotten castigated!

Also Onuora is never questioned even though 2 goals came from his side... people have instead chosen to blame Taiwo and now Hall. Is Onuora untouchable or something.... are people worried about criticising him as he might run back to mummy or something?

No mate it's not blaming Taiwo he cant be blamed for being thrown in not match fit ,and it's not a case of and now Hall, he has alway's been open to critism ,as regard's to Onoura he deserves the chance to settle in

How quickly some forget being almost entirely outplayed by MK farking Dons in the FA cup, and our very poor league form.
If NW was still here, we would be exactly where we are right now....STRUGGLING.
Um we didn't exactly turn the Dons over at home either and that was under Hughes.
Last season we didn't have the best players in the division, that has become abundantly clear this year. The reason? Last year these players had something special... an unbreakable team spirit, that got them through games that we were losing before.
This season we went into the market as we had to but that has upset the spirit
of last season, because we were too late and needed more in august.
But i do think once we lost that spirit NW couldn't stop the rot, but for me you have to ask yourself did Joey Barton contribute more in a bad way to this club than a good way.I think Warnock will always regret signing him.Just my opinion

I think Hughes might even share that opinion come the summer
