  • Big mistake getting rid of Warnock... /merged/

Taking Leeds up next year will leave only one automatic place for us. Let's hope we have last season's good luck with injuries (Mackie excepted) and not this season's wretched luck.

If by some near-miracle we do stay up (and surely its going to take time for Taiwo and Diakite to get used to the pace of the English game) then I suppose Fernandes (as I hope) will be vindicated. Then again, if Neil goes to Wolves, keeps them up and sends us down, could we tempt him back next year to help with the promotion drive?

No wonder people are leaving this site when you read messages like that.

As if Warnock would come back IF he kept Wolves up or got Leeds up

I am still gutted that we sacked him, I think they should had let him finish the season at QPR.

Yeah sure Olly, reckon he was going for the record of how many sides he could get promoted to the prem then relegated straight back down in consecutive seasons.
            Queens Park Rangers
            NPower Champions 2010/2011

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

Wow, you really are pushing the boundaries of analytical thinking.

                any reasoning?

As an alternative view, I think we will do what West Ham are doing now, and the parachute payments help with the wage bill and keeping a lot of our players.

                  this is all based on:
                  if warnock goes to leeds
                  if leeds go up
if we get less points than 50% of the teams below us in our remaining games

erm...i'll be a millionaire by sunday...if i win the lottery.

Lots of ifs and buts there.... most incredibly unrealistic. But hey, it's obviously more realistic in your mind to assume we will get relegated, even though shocking results aside, we are still not in the bottom 3, so you keep pondering....
