Lads, lads, lads, I think what we who have the hump about this are trying to say is, they didn't need to go all the way to the sunny Algarve for intensive training sessions, or bonding sessions, or any other touchy-feely crap, they could have done all that here, in England, on the training ground at Harlington.
I can tell you they wont be getting any sun tan cos its ain't exactly warm there. Its a boot camp...anyone not toeing the line will get that...a boot up the bum !!

Big freeze, my farking assss.
Yes and from Harlington, they'd all disperse and go there own ways....
The whole point with this is it's not just about getting it right on the pitch, but bonding and getting to know eachother better off the pitch also. They will inevitably still be talking shop, tactics, styles players strength's and weaknesses, new ideas etc etc etc etc.....
for me it's a good call. things haven't been working for us. so like with any situation, you either do something, or you do nothing. so two options, do nothing, and keep it the same (which we know isn't working) or try to make some change (which might then impact on how we perform).
do nothing and we get repeats of blackburn. so something has to change, and if an intensive bonding and training course in warmer climes will have the desired impact and get us out of the mire, then great. but sure it is something MH has to make happen to salvage this season for us, nothing wrong with change provided it's in the right direction.
No way a jolly up, hard training and bonding. They have a week in each others company, if at home they would train for 2 hours then have the day to theirselves for a jolly up.
Excatly my thoughts as well. At this stage bonding the team is very important. I guess Diakite is with them as well.
lets hope a few nights on the lash & a few rounds of golf @ the club's expense make the squad realise some of the drivel they have turnt in this season is an insult to the fanbase . as for supporting another club, have a day off trigger, results hurt and the bare minimum i expect in return for my effort & support is an acceptable level of performance .

Maybe you should support Man Utd or some Spanish Side and have a near polished performance each week
the point is quite obviously lost on the lot of you, regardless of the team you follow no football supporter should pay their hard earned to witness the obvious complete lack of belief, desire & hard work which has been present in some of our performances this season, it is 1 thing getting rolled over & another thing turning out a performance like the 1st 1/2 @ ewood park on saturday !

I think youll find the idea of going away is to avoid another such performance . Youre talking like this trip took place before the Blackburn game. Dear oh dear.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Yeah bound to be on the lash a few nights aren't they, no curfew, rules, discipline etc. Perhaps Mark Hughes is leading an 18-30's style pub crawl and Bowen is arranging the drinking games...
After that they'll have some drunk scooter racing before picking up some wasted bints who are easy game.
