Come on here and have look round but hardly ever post anymore for some of the examples above, Almost every thread/debate turns into I'm better than you and petty name calling. It used to be a good laugh on here and there was some great banter bouncing around but now I feel it has lost its way and turned into cyber c.ock measuring

Several reasons Paul.

He writes intelligent posts. He is always fair and balanced. He doesn't attempt to insult people who happen to disagree with him. He explains things patiently, which believe me, when it comes to responding to you, is an absolutely essential quality.

He is well liked by many posters, (probably the vast majority, although I've not carried out a survey, so can't state as fact).

And as far as I'm aware, is not constantly ribbed by some people for their views on Adel.

You seem to be the one with the problem on the make up of the moderating team. Not us. Nor the vast majority of our posters who would have no particular view anyhow, as they behave in such a way for it not to affect them.

I always defended you from those unfair digs by others in the past. You then show your true colours by blatantly showing your contempt for a small group of people who do their best, voluntarily, in order that fans such as yourself can visit and enjoy a forum to discuss one of the important things in all our lives.

Not sure how old your children are Paul, but would hope that even you can see that when they are of an age and have the inclination to partake in forums such as this, that some of us will object strongly from them being encouraged to use or even subjected to a never ending stream of insults, bigoted views and foul language, which they may well experience elsewhere.

Still, you keep on moaning mate. We all enjoy a good laugh at someone.

Do you know how many people are banned, who they are and what for ?

Do you have any idea at all, how few infraction points are ever given out.

Not a dig mate, but I think you would be very surprised at how few people are affected.

So much so, that even discussing the subject is grossly out of proportion to the issue.

With regards to yourself, I personally have got to quite like you, now that your sole purpose is no longer a spot of "Pete bashing".

For the record I've threatened a few people with infraction points when they've been really insulting but never actually issued a single infraction point or ban. No prob with either of you as long as you don't insult other posters. Hope that is fair.

Brighton, this thread was about why people dont come on here and whether you like it or not, or agree or not, people seem hacked off with the way this forum is moderated and the differing views mods have and the way they react, depending on who says it. I simply said I got points for calling someone a plum and all of a sudden the mods are harping on about racists, homophobic stuff....... can you tell me why, as a plum is neither ?

I have always said you are a decent mod and why cant you put a mod on an ignore list, as if you a naughty boy you get a PM ?

Bingo - I couldn't agree more - it sure wasn't me who started threads about Saurez, gay footballers etc. Its only when a different opinion is expressed that its suddenly "getting political" apparently. Anyway, lets now keep it to talking about QPR - and lets see how long it lasts...
