  • Away end needs to be sorted out

We need to stop offering teams 3,000 tickets, our capacity is 18,000 so we're roughly giving 17% of our ground to away fans. Also this 'netting' in the lower school end when the away team only has the upper tier, it's ridiculous and we seem to be the only club that do this!

Blackburn, Man City (Trialled it for Champions League game), Man United (Cup games) and Newcastle all have away fans above home fans and none have this restriction on home fans.

I'm positive the 10% rule for away tickets is taken into account after segregation, so why aren't we covering the front 2 or 3 rows of the upper school end with 'netting' and placing a steward in the front row of each block? It would ensure a higher amount of tickets to be sold and also more Rangers fans in the ground. The current method of covering the first 7 or 8 rows of the lower school end is madness.

Been saying this four months but everyones answer is to put away fans in X block, not sure why and dont agree with it.

Do away with the netting, it is not required anywhere else in leagues so why in the Bush.

On a plus note atleast we appear to have pulled a number on Everton fans when they come to the bush so maybe the club in learning

We should move away fans but when we can't sell out our own seats i.e. chelsea FA cup. Wigan I'm sure the the club will try and cash in other support? we are obliged to offer about 7%-10% around 1000-1800 tickets. I personally would put all away fans in west paddock! but we cant moan about the amount of support away teams have when we can't sell out ourselves?

Why can't the away fans go in the lower tier and QPR in the upper?

It would have taken you as long to answer the question than post that wouldn't it?

There is a minimum number of seats you have to give to the away support. Having the lower tier with the seats covered as they would have to be, wouldn't be enough.

No point imo changing what we have already

Sorry but what I meant was why can't they have that bottom tier in its entirety? Why cover the seats. Can QPR home fans not be trusted?

After the shameful turnout for the Chelshyte cup game, empty seats at any game at Loftus Rd should come as no surprise to anybody.

I don't care what anybody says, but it's my belief we have the laziest so-called supporters in the premier league, and the merest suggestion that most QPR fans are poorer than Oliver farking Twist, is simply ludicrous.
It should not be any sort of a problem for Queen's Park Rangers to try and fill an 18,000 capacity, but sadly, too many fans are too farking busy trying to find farking pubs showing the game, or farking streams so they don't have to leave the comfy warmth of a soft cosy armchair whilst viewing the game on a PC.
When opposing fans sing, "your support is farking shyte," there's more than a hint of truth in that, sadly.

On the plus side, at least the proper fans can get tickets still!

it really makes no difference if we sell out or not - we'll put 15-18k each game.
our ground is so small if makes no difference whatsoever to turnover.

our gate receipts go nowhere near covering wage bill.

the club know this and therefore as not really too fussed about it. nor am i.
