I interpreted them more as a gee-up than being critical. Shows good leadership IMO. I also thought his other tweets on the game were very positive.

What Fernandez tweeted appears to have been taken out of context by some.

But, had he come out and said our lot have proven to be spineless up to now, he'd be bloody right, and would have my support for having been brutaly honest.

They were worse than spineless in the first half on Saturday- I was absolutely disgusted by what I witnessed.

TF deserves better from these players, as do we, and I think it's a good thing he's given them a bit of a public dressing down.

Besides, I think Twitter is their(the players) "language" these days.

February has been a disastrous month so far.

Aston Villa should have been 3 points for us.

Wolverhampton Wanderers should have been 3 points in the bag.

Blackburn Rovers should have been at least 1 point on the board.

As it is, we have taken a total haul of 1 measly point.

By God, if I were Tony Fernandes, I'd be hopping mad.

Because it could be seen as undermining Hughes, and he is the team manager, and is not only responsible for fitness tactics, etc but also in this business team morale

                          too right n all.

He simply said it was the worst 45mins he had seen since he joined us, and he wasnt wrong. He went onto say he is as optimistic as ever and we have a great squad n backroom team.

Dont see what the issue with is with anything he said tbh.

similar to all the other posts on here - he's the boss, he can tweet what he wants.

He's being honest, we don't have a spine. We've all said it on here - why isn't he allowed to say the same thing? we all say it in the pub/in the stands.

He can't win really, can he? Be this open, people criticise, say nothing, the same people criticise...
