  • Was Fernandes right to Tweet

I'm not sure where I stand on this social media thing with players and officials at the club?

Barton drives me mad, but at the end of the day all I really want is a performance on the pitch like the rest of you I really could not give a toss what his views are in Joey world.

However Fernandes has come out and basically called the team spineless, is this such a good thing?

If Paladini, Briatore or Ecclestone had done the same I'm sure some people would have plenty to say?

This by the way is in no means a critique of Fedrnandes I know some may rush to accuse me of flying the GP flag but I just wondered if Fernandes comments are really that constructive to a team that is clearly low on confidence?

Well you can't blame him publically criticising the squad as he has spent millions on it, they are spineless and the 1st half of Blackburn was a joke, it looks more like a league 2 side.

I think he's basically saying that he expects better.

Not the best of ideas but just shows you he is as frustrated as we are.

Course his right...he owns the team. If his air line performed the same he would go bananas !!

Fernandes is a people person, and great at PR I just wonder if his tweeting was that constructive?

Warnock highlighted it after he left, the club have an official site I honestly think Fernandes should perhaps communicate more through that than flippant one liners said after a very poor first half display.

This. If I was boss and I was unhappy about something they would know about it.

Do agree with W12 on this in that he pays the money and is entitled, but would add the proviso that as long Mark Hughes is happy with it.

Talent is one thing. Being able to cope with the pressures of talent is key. Everyone needs a spine to take the pressures of life. We need a spine in QPR. We need fighters not just talent.

It's perfectly fair, and I hope they all saw it, especially Cisse.

I don't really think this is a criticism. He is only stating something which everybody on these boards has been saying in that the players need spine as well as talent. This might have been taken out of context, because I think he is tweeting this in connection with the death of Whitney Houston who obviously had a lot of talent but no spine.

whether he says it on twitter ....OR on the offish ........OR to some bloke down his local ....

The bottom line is its his money and HE is paying the majority of the wages and costs ..

If over paid prima donnas on £ 80 grand a week dont like it or it may offend them or it may be 'bad for team morale ' then b ollox to them ...

I say they should be made well aware of their shortcomings and underachievments ...lets not dress it up the first half at Blackburn was Sunday morning park football at best !!!

How would the likes of Brian Clough put it !!!
