i know theres a gap but don't rule villa out of it

Or Swansea, there is always one team that drops like a stone, 2nd half of season and either just survives or gets relegated, Villa and Swansea both fit that bill, although both should just about see it out.

I think Sunderland was different. They were a fairly settled side but just weren't getting the results under Bruce.
